Sowing Seeds: Cross-Pollinating Through Mixed Metaphors

To celebrate our 5th Anniversary, we've decided to give you incentives to support your friendly neighborhood small-press-poetry-producers! To that end, we have assembled two shiny piles of swag, one in Cornwall, one in California. Behold!

- Shimmer magazine's Clockwork Jungle Book
- Sybil's Garage no. 7
- The Honey Month by Amal El-Mohtar
- Demon Lovers and Other Difficulties by Nicole Kornher-Stace, featuring C.S.E. Cooney
- Three glossy postcards featuring the art of Rima Staines
- The 2010 Rhysling anthology, edited by Jaime Lee Moyer
- Four Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfume imps: Maiden, Dana O'Shee, Jabberwocky, and Bewitched (chosen for thematic appropriateness, but swappable in case of allergies or other preference)

- Goblins! by Brian Froud
- Demon Lovers and Other Difficulties by Nicole Kornher-Stace
- two James Jean postcards
- one glamourkin necklace
- one locket with Waterhouse's Lady of Shalott
- one goatmilk soap

The largesse featured above shall be distributed among twelve winners to be randomly drawn from a hat that will quite likely be purple. The first person drawn will get first pick at an item from either pile, and so on from there. To be entered in the draw, you need do only one of the following before June 1, 2011:

- Make a donation to Goblin Fruit
- Make a donation or subscribe to any 'zine that publishes poetry — it need not be a poetry-only 'zine. Some suggestions from among our favourites: Stone Telling, Mythic Delirium, Apex, Ideomancer, Strange Horizons, Cabinet des Fées, Abyss & Apex, Sybil's Garage, Weird Tales, Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet.
- Write a post, either on your own blogs or on our Livejournal community, briefly reviewing a favourite issue of Goblin Fruit or thoroughly reviewing a favourite Goblin Fruit poem.
- Boost the signal of this giveaway!

However, the MORE of the above you do, the more times you will be entered. When you do anything besides donate to Goblin Fruit (for which we of course receive notification), e-mail us at goblin dot fruit at gmail dot com with CONTEST ENTRY in the subject line, including links to your posts and proof of your donations and/or subscriptions.

Here's a nifty place to start!
